North Cape, UK

View of Stonehenge

My visit in Stonehenge reminded me of my travel to the North Cape in Norway. They also charged a ridiculous entrance fee, but since its such a famous site and you are already in the area you gladly accept that its a rip-off and go to see it anyway. It might be of high historical significance and also the story how far transported the stones at that time is crazy, but there is still not more to see than on the few pictures everyone of us has already seen anyway. Would be nicer if you could actually go closer, but well, understandable measures. At least it was relatively quiet with the reduced travelling due to Covid and the unfavorable date just a week into the new years. All in all, as expected, no surprises, cant really recommend to go there, but still you have to see it somehow
